1. Information We Don't Collect

We believe in minimal data collection. CleanLoom:

• Does NOT upload your photos, videos, or screenshots to any server
• Does NOT access your location, microphone, or camera
• Does NOT collect your contacts for any purpose other than local duplicate detection
• Does NOT share any personal information with third parties
• Does NOT track your behavior for advertising purposes

2. On-Device Processing

All cleanup operations—including duplicate photo detection, similar image analysis, video similarity scanning, and contact merging—are performed entirely on your device. Your media never leaves your phone.

3. Photo Library Access

We request access to your Photo Library solely to:

• Scan for duplicate and similar photos/videos
• Display thumbnails within the app
• Delete items you explicitly select for removal

We cannot and do not access photos you haven't granted permission for. Deleted items are moved to your device's "Recently Deleted" folder, where you can recover them for 30 days.

4. Contacts Access

We request access to your Contacts solely to:

• Identify duplicate or similar contact entries
• Help you merge duplicate contacts

Contact data is processed locally and never transmitted externally.

5. Subscription & Purchase Data

If you subscribe to CleanLoom Pro:

• Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store
• We receive anonymous transaction confirmations from Apple
• We do not have access to your payment details, credit card information, or Apple ID

6. Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics (such as app crash reports and general usage statistics) to improve app stability and features. This data:

• Cannot identify individual users
• Does not include any photo, video, or contact content
• Is used solely to improve app performance

7. Data Security

Since your data stays on your device, you maintain full control. We recommend:

• Keeping your device passcode enabled
• Using Face ID or Touch ID for additional security
• Regularly backing up your device via iCloud or computer

8. Children's Privacy

CleanLoom is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information submission.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
