Welcome to CleanLoom ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CleanLoom, you confirm that you:

Are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) applies to your use of the app. These Terms supplement it.

2. Description of Service

CleanLoom provides tools to help you:

Identify and remove duplicate photos and videos
Find and clean up similar images
Manage and merge duplicate contacts
Compress video files to save storage space
Clean up screenshot clutter

All processing is performed locally on your device.

3. User Responsibilities

⚠️ Important: You are solely responsible for reviewing items before deletion. Deleted items are moved to your device's "Recently Deleted" folder where they remain recoverable for approximately 30 days before permanent deletion by iOS.

You agree to:

Review items carefully before confirming deletion
Maintain regular backups of important photos, videos, and contacts
Use the App only for its intended purpose
Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Features: Basic scanning and limited cleanup features are available for free.

CleanLoom Pro Subscription: Additional features require a paid subscription:

Weekly Plan: Auto-renewing subscription, billed every week
Yearly Plan: Auto-renewing subscription, billed every year
Lifetime Plan: One-time purchase for permanent access to all Pro features. It is not a subscription and has no recurring charges.

Prices: The price of each plan is shown in the app before you confirm a purchase and may vary by country.

Auto-Renewal: Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted through Apple. We cannot process refunds directly.

5. Intellectual Property

CleanLoom, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the App
Use our trademarks without written permission
Create derivative works based on the App

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.

We make no warranties regarding:

The accuracy of duplicate or similarity detection
The recoverability of deleted items
Compatibility with all device models or iOS versions

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data, photos, videos, or contacts
Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for CleanLoom in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of CleanLoom after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of India.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
