We're here to help you get the most out of Clean Loom
Email us, or tap Send feedback in the app's Settings. We usually reply within 24 hours.
Contact SupportYes. All scanning happens on your device. Your photos, videos, contacts, and calendar events never leave your phone, the app has no server, and we don't have access to any of your personal data.
In Smart Clean and the photo and video cleaners, items you delete go to the Safety Bin first. Open the Safety Bin tab to restore anything with one tap. Nothing leaves your library until you empty the bin and confirm. The bin clears, without deleting anything, when you close the app. You can turn the bin off in Settings > Safety.
No. Deleted items move to "Recently Deleted" in the Photos app, where you can recover them for up to 30 days before iOS removes them permanently.
Smart Clean checks your newest photos and videos first and tells you exactly how many it checked. Tap Scan more to check the next batch of older ones.
Scanning and review are free. You can delete extra copies of exact duplicate photos at any time, plus 10 other items a day (the count resets at midnight). Restoring from the Safety Bin is always free, and Quick Sort, the Vault, Calendar cleanup, and Speaker Cleaner are included. Pro adds unlimited deletions, Select All, video compression, and contact merging and cleanup.
Clean Loom saves a smaller copy of the video to your photo library. Your original stays until you choose to remove it, and a removed original goes to "Recently Deleted" for 30 days. Higher compression saves more space but can lower quality.
Clean Loom moves phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, and other details into the card you keep, and saves a backup of every card first, including contact photos. You can restore it from Contact Backups. The app cannot read contact notes, so notes on a card that is merged away are not kept or backed up. Check notes in the Contacts app before merging.
No. Vault items are encrypted and stored only on this device. They are not included in iCloud or computer backups, they do not move to a new iPhone, and they are erased if you delete the app. To keep a copy, open an item in the Vault and tap Save to Photos.
The AI Assistant uses Apple's on-device model, so it appears only on devices that support Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later, or a supported iPad) running iOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence turned on. It is read-only and cannot delete anything. Finding duplicates does not use AI and works on every supported device.
Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Clean Loom. There you can change or cancel your plan. In Clean Loom, Settings > Manage Plan also takes you there.
Open Clean Loom, tap the gear icon at the top of the Clean tab to open Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases" under Subscription. You can also tap "Restore" at the bottom of the Pro screen. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you used for the original purchase.
Clean Loom works on iPhone and iPad running iOS 16.0 or later. The AI Assistant needs a device that supports Apple Intelligence (see above).
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > Clean Loom and select "Full Access" so the app can check all your photos. With "Limited Access", it checks only the photos you picked.
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Contacts and make sure Clean Loom is turned on.
Clean Loom checks your newest photos first and shows its progress. Larger batches take longer, so keep the app open until the check finishes. Each Scan more checks the next batch of older photos.
💡 Tip: For the best results, give Clean Loom full photo library access, then use Scan more in Smart Clean to check older photos.
